PT Surya Teknik Anugerah had a most audacious start to its journey. In 2007, when trying to work on a coal concession he owned, Pak Hadi Sunarto found that no one was willing to work on the geologically challenging mine – bigger contractors were unwilling to mobilize due to the economics of the project, and smaller contractors were incapable of answering to its operational complexity. Accepting the challenge, Pak Hadi set up PT. Surya Teknik Anugerah (STA) to work on his own coal concessions. In recent year, the commodities boom saw investors scrambling for increased coal production throughout the country. Mine owners looking for a competent engineering partner signed contracts with STA after observing the many successful operations it had implemented.

Legal Executive

Responsibilities:

• Assist in overall legal activities including handling and review contract, agreement or other legal documents as well as various regulations, corporate legal dispute relates to operation
• Ensure that all legal issues for corporate action are covered and fulfilled
• Review draft to find weakness and advantages as well as anticipation of the constraints of implementation of the agreement or damages that may be suffered by the company and provide a solution completion

Requirements:

• Candidate must possess at least a Bachelor Degree or Master degree in Law or equivalent
• Preferably supervisory level or senior officer for minimum 3 (three) years specializing in Corporate Legal, Legal Advisory and preferable experience in Mining Industries
• Having experiences from Law Firm/ in house corporate legal experiences is a plus
• Strong interpersonal, analytical, drafting, negotiation and excellent communication skills in English
