PT Panca Amara Utama

SEP acquired 59.98% of PT. Panca Amara Utama (PAU) in August 2011. PAU plans to build a fertilizer plant by utilizing natural gas from the Senoro-Toili gas fields (Donggi-Senoro), Central Sulawesi, supplied by JOB Pertamina-Medco E&P Tomori Sulawesi. As per the Ministry of Energy and Natural Resources Decree No. 3288k/14/MEM/2010, PAU has been allocated 55 MMSCFD of natural gas. The natural gas will be processed to produce ammonia, the main raw material for producing urea fertilizer and other chemical products. This project supports the government’s program for maximizing domestic utilization and value addition of natural gas, parallel to strengthening national food supply security by encouraging fertilizer production.

Legal Counsel - Specialist

Responsibilities:

• Full legal support of the company’s project, a comprehensive inspection for the presence of the legal risks and recommendations to minimize the risks.
• Developing internal guidelines, tool kits, and packaged knowledge on various legal and business issues.
• Overseeing and advising on a wide variety of corporate transactions.
• Preparing Annual General Meeting of Shareholders as well as Extraordinary General Meeting of Shareholders.

Requirements:

• A minimum of 3 years of progressively responsible experience in a fast-paced legal environment, preferably in both a major law firm and an in-house legal department of an international company (PMA).
• An understanding and demonstrated ability to resolve complex transactions, business issues, with substantial experience in Company licensing and contract drafting.
• Excellent interpersonal, verbal and written communication skills in English.
