PT Benesse Indonesia is education company from Japan. Currently Benesse is focusing on South Asian regional, Japan, Taiwan, South Korea, China and now would like to expand in Indonesia. We are looking for professional, ambitious and highly motivated individual to join our team for the position as:


Legal Specialist

Requirements:
  • Candidate must possess at least a Bachelor's Degree, Law or equivalent.
  • At least 3 year(s) of working experience in the related field is required for this position.
  • Preferably Manager / Assistant Managers specializing in Law/Legal Services or equivalent.
  • Full-Time position(s) available.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office including Power point
  • Knowledge in Google documents- an advantage.
  • Advanced Computer Skills (PowerPoint, Excel, Word, Access).
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills in English and Bahasa Indonesia
Responsibilities:
  • Review, prepare and maintain legal documents including contracts, regulatory documents, legal letters and policies.
  • Prepare documents and contracts in relation to licensing/franchising, including documentation of SOP or manuals, in collaboration with experts and co-workers.
  • Manage and maintain corporate legal matters including by-laws, share holders meetings, board of directors meetings, including preparation of official documents and minutes, in collaboration with attorneys and legal or relevant department in Tokyo.  Implement filing and registration as necessary.
  • Conduct risk management analysis and prepare counter plans and measures.
  • Establish corporate governance structures, including definite decision making procedures.
  • Research and keep track of updated laws, regulations in relation to corporate administration and business operations.  Implement necessary measures/actions to meet the requirements, including laws/regulations relevant to commercial transactions and privacy information.
  • Become a liaison between senior management and outsource partners
  • Handle regulatory/regislative matters including government approvals/permissions, registration of trademark and other intellectual properties.
  • Monitor legal status or compliance of the company, employees and partner companies including the licensees
  • Conduct good communication with attorneys or other professionals
