In response to the above situation and via a succession of administrative and regulatory directives, the government required all licensed general insurance and reinsurance companies operating in Indonesia to cooperate in insuring special risks through a joint undertaking of all companies. The vehicle for this undertaking was the Indonesian Earthquake Reinsurance Pool or Pool Reasuransi Gempa Bumi Indonesia (PRGBI). Participating in the Earthquake Pool was made compulsory for all general insurance and reinsurance companies. The PRGBI began operations from 1st January 2003. At the same time a compulsory earthquake tariff was introduced and endorsed by the government. The Management is urgently seeking qualified individuals for the following position of:

Legal Staff

Requirements:

• Minimum education of Undergraduate degree (S1) in Law from reputable university
• Has experience at least 2 years as legal officer, preferred in general insurance business industry
• Has experience to handle documents with notary, legal agencies, government, corporate legal, licensing and etc.
• Ability to work with high accuracy, detail oriented and strong analytical skill
• Good negotiation skill, hard worker, good team work, and eager to learn
• Good command in English, both oral & written
• Familiar with Microsoft Office and Internet applications
