The
Damco history starts early in the 20th century, when two new freight forwarding
companies were established in Europe. In 2011 Damco acquired the Chinese air
freight forwarder New Times International Transport Service (NTS), followed by
the acquisition of the Australian forwarder Pacific Network Global Logistics
(PacNet) in 2012. The Damco headquarters relocated in 2013 to its current
location in The Hague, The Netherlands – not that far from where C.W.H. van Dam
started his company back in 1905. Compared to those early days, the number of
Damco employees has grown from 8 to 11,000+ and the number of offices worldwide
from 1 to 300+
Legal Officer
Responsibilities:
- Support Direct Supervisor for administrative matters which includes Drafting Letters, files management and legal research
- Prepare tools in maintaining all contracts and monitor its validity
- Prepare tools in maintaining insurance policy, and monitor its validity
- Prepare tools to monitor all licenses (5 companies + 3 COs), and monitor its validity
- Prepare SOP for extension of all licenses and maintain the process</li><li>Prepare SOP in obtaining new licenses and maintain the process
Requirements:
- Graduate from a reputable University
- Hold bachelor degree in Law, majoring in Business Law is an advantage
- GPA minimum 2.90
- Proficient in English
- Well organized, passionate in learning, self-motivated
- Able to work independently as well as in a team
- Fresh Graduate is welcome to apply
