client is one of the leading local trading companies, providing materials and
heavy equipment to various government institutions, and is now looking for a
potential talent to fill in their open Legal Officer position.
Legal Officer
Responsibilities:
- Drafting and reviewing documents for their legalities and validity
- Review and provide legal advice for the corporation.
- Conduct Legal Due Diligence.
- Keeps cases organized by establishing and organizing files; monitoring calendars; meeting deadlines; documenting actions ; inputting information into file database and case management software; confirming case status with attorney.
- Liaise with relevant departments to ensure that where legal risk shave been identified, appropriate courses of action have been taken.
- Review progress of outstanding litigation and liaise with and manage external lawyers.
- To attend any mediation and settlement process in relation to the company case
Requirements:
- Has a minimum of 1-2 years of similar working experience
- Possess good communication skill and analytical thinking
- Creative, resourceful and able to initiate new ways of improving the current system
- Female or male in his or her mid 20’s to early 30’s
