Ganda
Alam Makmur (GAM) mine is located in East Kalimantan. The mine is currently under
construction and is expected to commence production at the end of 2014. The
mining facility is designed to have a production capacity up to 12 Mtpa.
Typical coal produced is low sulfur coal with calorific value of 4,200 (gar).
Total coal resource is more than 500 million tons. LGI recently acquired a 60%
stake in a coal mine, PT Ganda Alam Makmur (Kalimantan, Indonesia), for
W242.8bn. Possessing the rights to 100% off-take of the mined coal, the company
will participate in the development of the mine (mineable coal reserves of
220mn tons), with production slated to begin in 2014. Coal output of 2mn tons
pa is projected (13mn tons by 2024). At present, we believe that LGI’s total
coal production volume will increase from 3.9mn tons (as of end-2011) to 5.5mn
tons by end-2012 and are seeking for suitable candidates for immediate
