Mercedes-Benz in Indonesia consists of three companies, namely PT Mercedes-Benz Indonesia, PT Mercedes-Benz Distribution Indonesia and PT Star Engines Indonesia. The Jakarta office is conveniently located at the prestigious Deutsche Bank building in Jakarta, while our 42-hectare plant is in Wanaherang, Gunung Putri, Bogor, and our After-Sales office is located in Ciputat. PT Mercedes-Benz Indonesia is a 100% foreign investment company, owned by Daimler AG, Stuttgart (89,21%) and Daimler Project Consult, Germany (10,79%). Legal Officer & Corporate Secretary

Organizational Objectives of the position are:

• To ensure of company documentation, including licenses, permits are well maintained and updated/on time extension.
• To support on legal matters and coordinate with related department within the company on drafting agreement process.
• To act as legal support in case of legal dispute.
• To support with legal assessment and to provide independent oversight on legal risk status.

Requirements:

• Minimum of Bachelor degree in Law.
• Having a PERADI license would be an advantage.

Experience

• Minimum of 2 years experience in related area, and on handling legal matters
• Having experience in corporate secretary area.

Specific Knowledge and Skills:

• Good understanding of local regulation.
• Good know how on contract drafting.
• Good knowledge on consumer protection art, criminal and civil law, anti-monopoly and competition law.
• MS Office literate (MS Word, MS Excel, MS Power Point).
• Excellence command in English and Bahasa.
• Strong analytical skill, procedure oriented and independent.
• Good communication and interpersonal skills.
• Good negotiation skills.
