resources and reserves have been identified and quantified to date. More
resources and reserves are realistically expected as exploration and drilling
continues. AKT’s output is premium hard coking coal, which commands premium
pricing with relatively low production costs, offering substantial margins to
mitigate most market risk. A capacity expansion program to 5 mtpa has been
completed, to be followed by an evaluation of a further ramp-up to 10 mtpa. AKT
is ultimately targeting to produce up to 15 mtpa of high quality hardcoking
coal ramping up over within the next five years as infrastructure is added and
the number and size of areas opened expands to allow bigger equipment to
