PT Panca Amara Utama

SEP acquired 59.98% of PT. Panca Amara Utama (PAU) in August 2011. PAU plans to build a fertilizer plant by utilizing natural gas from the Senoro-Toili gas fields (Donggi-Senoro), Central Sulawesi, supplied by JOB Pertamina-Medco E&P Tomori Sulawesi. As per the Ministry of Energy and Natural Resources Decree No. 3288k/14/MEM/2010, PAU has been allocated 55 MMSCFD of natural gas. The natural gas will be processed to produce ammonia, the main raw material for producing urea fertilizer and other chemical products. This project supports the government’s program for maximizing domestic utilization and value addition of natural gas, parallel to strengthening national food supply security by encouraging fertilizer production.
