Legal & Compliance
Counsel
Responsibilities:
- Provides legal advice and counsel on handling legal and compliance matters involving the company, litigation as well as non-litigation.
- Participates in legal and compliance projects and manages other tasks as required including assisting the management for various tasks.
- Liaises with outside legal assistance, competent authorities, other departments and other external parties; to monitor and evaluate their activities; as required
- Implements legal investigation and research, and supports compliance investigation and research activities for the company.
Requirements:
- Minimum Bachelor degree majoring Laws.
- Strong legal background, having compliance background is an advantage.
- Holding advocate license or master in notarial field is an advantage
- Experience of minimum 2 years in managerial positions or 5 years in legal & compliance field, in reputable law firm or multinational company.
- Experienced in compliant handling of litigations and dealing with authorities is an advantage.
- High initiative and proactive
- Fast learner
